Rocky Mountain Junior Scholars Forum

October 16-17, 2025

2025 Rocky Mountain Junior Scholars Forum

The Rocky Mountain Junior Scholars Forum is an annual conference designed to give junior faculty an opportunity to present and receive feedback from peer junior faculty on a draft paper; discuss teaching, scholarship, and service with a panel of seasoned faculty; and network with junior faculty from across the Western U.S. This is a low-pressure forum for practicing draft presentation skills and getting feedback on a working draft. We define the term “junior” loosely and welcome both untenured and recently-tenured faculty.

This year’s Forum will be held at BYU Law School in Provo, Utah. The conference will begin at 1:00 pm on October 16 and end the afternoon of October 17, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the weekend in Utah if you decide to extend your stay. The conference is free to attend, but participants must cover their own travel and lodging expenses. We have negotiated a discounted rate at a local hotel for the conference and will be in touch with those details upon registration.

Paper submissions in abstract, outline or draft form are all accepted. Submission deadline is August 15, 2025.
